i am now 32 weeks and 3 days. my midwife appointments have upgraded from monthly to fortnightly and in not too long will become weekly. we are getting ready for this baby - emotionally and spiritually.
the other day we had a visit with beautiful jodi and her gorgeous family. we all shared croissants with delicious tasmanian homemade jam from their recent trip. i stole some time to talk to jodi about birth and labour. she is a serious inspiration. her story of the birthing of poet (baby number two for her and daniel) is one of the most beautiful i've read. she inspires women to trust their bodies and flow with the rhythm of birth. she is passionate about birth and i can't thank her enough for the empowerment she has inspired in me.
poet sat right on top of the belly - the perfect seat, and we had a little chat. i felt for a moment that rush of excitement to hold my own baby. to hold what is mine and tim's and God's.
we have a giveaway winner to announce. remember these lovely shoes?
they are going to the beautiful...
georgi! send an email to keshycc@gmail.com with your address and i'll send them on through.

So wonderful that you got to talk to jodi about birthing. From my time teaching prenatal yoga every sunday, i've learned how important it is for women to hear positive birth stories. There is just way too much fear mongering out there! x
ReplyDeleteOh beautiful Kesh, it was so good to spend time with you. As I mentioned to Tim the other day - you are in such a good place, so full of faith and gratitude. Blessings sweet muma x
ReplyDeleteKesh, so very excited for you and Tim. Agree with Katrina, this is the most beautiful photo of you guys!

ReplyDeletei'm so pleased you're aware THIS time, for your first.
'every child has but one beginning' - i'm proud of you for educating yourself and, as far as possible, ensuring baby Coulson's One Beginning is filled with beauty and joy.

I'm so excited for this baby, for you and your birth journey ... and I'm a little jealous that you get to talk to jodi about it all. She really is inspirational. I love how this blogging world connects people and I will be thinking of you & tim as you edge closer to meeting your little one.
