the bakety beansity love child

something told me inside that you'd like to know an amazing story about baked beans.... again.
maybe not?
anyway, here i go.

after posting my previous post on the wonderful delight called baked beans.... (i might digress here and mention that i spent some time living in a little place called the maritimes in canada, but that's another blog)...

this is me in canada, with another lovely lady, layla. (that's an alliteration)

anyway, there i met a lovely lady called crystal who cooks very, very well. now crystal read my post about the beanie beans and sent me through a recipe for maritime baked beans. i also have a 'friend' called donna hay (we are one-way recipe friends) so this morning donna hay's recipe for maple baked beans, crystal's recipe for maritime baked beans and my pantry met. there were fireworks, and they hit it off. i think they'll met up again. over and over again.

also, today i worked on my artwork for 4 hours, ready for uni.... tomorrow. yes.

here is the recipe....

the kesh, crystal and donna baked bean recipe love-child
200g bacon, chopped
1x chorizo (smoked is best)
1x 750g can of four bean mix
1x 240g can of the beans of your desire (i used kidney cause it was in the pantry)
2x tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbs golden syrup
2 tbs tomato paste
2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp chilli flakes (chuck in more if you like it hot...)
1/2 cup water
1 tbs worcestershire sauce
1 onion (brown or red... i like red), sliced
1 clove garlic
1 tbs olive oil

put your chorizo, onion, bacon, garlic and olive oil in a large saucepan on high heat and cook 'til golden and tender.
reduce heat to low and put everything else in the saucepan, you might need more water, just sus it out... liquid level should be just below beans to start.
cover and allow sauce to thicken.
beans are ready when they taste delicious. shouldn't take more than 15mins of simmering.

when your done you can freeze it, put the mix in some pastry to make pies (we had this tonight.... yum), have it with some crusty thick toast, mix it through pasta etc and so forth... best meal ever.

  6. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My blog has a lot of unique content I've either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help prevent content from being ripped off? I'd
    really appreciate it.

Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Many thanks
